Description

El tramo inferior del Beek Negro fluye desde Meldert (Lummen) en dirección suroeste, para unirse a la valle del Demer más allá de Zelem (Halen). Solo se une cerca de Diest. El arroyo serpentea aquí entre elevaciones cada vez más altas, a veces estrechándose hasta convertirse en una delgada franja de prados y pastizales, otras veces expandiéndose a una zona más amplia, dependiendo del espacio que las colinas con un sustrato de arenisca ferruginosa le permiten.
