En el lugar donde tuvo lugar el primer milagro de la Sagrada Cruz, se construyó una capilla en 1622. Esta capilla recibió el nombre de Kruisborre (Kruisborn) por la fuente que brotaba junto a la capilla. Más tarde, se construyó un pozo para recoger el agua de la fuente y se bendijo el agua. Con esta agua bendita, las personas se hacían la señal de la cruz antes de comenzar el "camino oem". También a menudo llevaban agua a casa para rociar los establos y el granero cuando se desataba una tormenta. La capilla constituye el punto de inicio y final de la llamada "Kapellekensweg" o "Camino Oem", y está situada en una empinada pendiente. Junto con el entorno, fue protegida como paisaje.
