La casa señorial está ubicada a lo largo del camino de conexión Bunsbeek - Hoeleden y forma parte de la densa construcción semi-rural del pequeño pueblo de Boeslinter, al este de la carretera Diestsesteenweg. Según los datos catastrales, fue construida alrededor de 1891 - presumiblemente como segunda vivienda - por un comerciante de armas de Lieja que se casó con una familia acomodada de Bunsbeek. No se conoce un diseñador, lo que no es excepcional para este período y este tipo de edificios que generalmente eran levantados por un contratista-albañil que aplicaba principalmente su conocimiento artesanal, a veces adicionalmente inspirado por libros de modelos.
