El pintoresco pueblo se encuentra en la línea baja de la provincia de Liège, en la orilla derecha del Ourthe, en la frontera con la provincia de Luxemburgo. Antes de la fusión en 1977, Sy era un municipio independiente. La zona aquí se llama la Pequeña Suiza Belga. Sy nos ofrece una infraestructura turística acogedora, rocas para escalar, excursiones señalizadas y las ruinas del castillo de Logne. Sy fue utilizado varias veces como motivo por el pintor de Liège Richard Heintz, quien también vivió aquí y murió en 1929.
