La cantera de Ampsin-Amay ocupa más de 30 hectáreas y fue clasificada en 2008 como reserva natural estatal. Para dar relevancia a los intereses ecológicos y las posibilidades de esta cantera, se creó un sendero geológico donde 13 paneles didácticos hablan sobre la fauna, flora, rocas y la historia local. También encontrarás un paseo sencillo de libre acceso, donde puedes ver el pasado industrial (los hornos de cal) fusionándose con la naturaleza. También hay una ruta que solo es accesible con un guía naturalista acreditado.
