La torre del agua, construida entre 1939 y 1941, se utilizó hasta los años 90 para el suministro de agua potable a los municipios circundantes.
La reciente protección como monumento ha permitido transformar esta torre en una vivienda multifuncional.
El carácter auténtico de la torre del agua se ha conservado. La cuba de agua, las escaleras de hormigón originales y la gigantesca tubería de agua de acero son los silenciosos testigos de la función anterior. Estos elementos originales se han integrado en perfecta armonía en el nuevo diseño, en el que se han aplicado las técnicas más modernas.
