El Moervaart es un canal en el norte de la provincia belga de Flandes Oriental y es el tramo medio hecho por el hombre del río Durme. El Moervaart tiene 22,42 km de largo y conecta el Canal de Gante a Terneuzen con el Durme. Hoy en día, el canal tiene poco significado económico y es utilizado únicamente por la navegación de recreo. Este curso de agua pasa por Gante a través de Mendonk, por Wachtebeke y en Waasland a través de Moerbeke-Waas y Lokeren. A través del Stekense Vaart, el Moervaart está conectado con Stekene. El valle del Moervaart está protegido a nivel europeo como parte del área de Natura 2000 'Bosques y brezales de Flandes Arenoso: parte oriental'.
