También estos prados se tiñen de amarillo y rosa en primavera con flores de mantequilla, flores de cucú y gran rattle. El relieve de las dunas de tierra y de las orillas destaca mucho. La densa red de canales tiene al Meersbeek como corredor hídrico central y fue construida durante la alta Edad Media. Aquí encuentran un hogar los gorriones, las comadrejas, los nutrias, las martas y desde hace algunos años también los zorros y los ciervos.
