Lo admitimos de inmediato: con la música este bosque tiene poco que ver. 'Muz' es celta para 'pantano'. Sin embargo, esta ruta de senderismo tiene muchas notas que ofrecer. Incluso el lugar de inicio suena como música para los oídos: Louise-Marie. El nombre de este pueblo en la frontera entre Ronse y Maarkedal es un homenaje a la primera reina belga. Ella falleció el día en que se inauguró la nueva iglesia de este pueblo. El verdadero punto culminante es la cima de la Muziekberg (148 m), sobre la cual se erige una torre.
