El Ijzer es un río en Bélgica y Francia. Es el más corto de los tres ríos belgas que desembocan en el mar (los otros dos son el Mosa y el Escalda) y el único río que desemboca en el mar en Bélgica. El Escalda y el Mosa desembocan en el mar en los Países Bajos. Su longitud total es de 78 kilómetros, de los cuales 45 están en Bélgica. El Ijzer se encuentra en la Westhoek. La zona entre el Ijzer y la costa, al oeste del río, se llama Bachten de Kupe.
