Una iglesia en haya es el protagonista en este parque. Es un recuerdo de la antigua iglesia abacial de la Abadía de San Bavón, que fue destruida en el siglo XVI por el emperador Carlos.
Junto a la iglesia hay espacio para jugar o celebrar una fiesta vecinal. El parque está ligeramente inclinado. El agua drena hacia una zona de pantano, que recoge el agua de lluvia y la deja infiltrar en el suelo. A través del edificio de la puerta blanca del antiguo matadero pasa un camino para bicicletas y peatones.
