Al este del amplio fondo de valle aluvial del Molenbeek, justo más allá de la confluencia del Laarbeek y el Molenbeek, tienes un desagüe. Con fuertes precipitaciones, debe haber una gran cantidad de agua del Molenbeek y del Laarbeek que fluye por ese desagüe menor, y aquí en ese plano fondo de valle a menudo ocurren inundaciones y depósitos del arroyo: aluvión. Estos suelos aluviales coinciden perfectamente con los prados, ya que ese aluvión húmedo es demasiado pantanoso para ser cultivado como tierra de cultivo, aunque son suelos muy fértiles.
