Las Houtsaegerduinen y el adyacente Kerkepannebos forman un área natural cerrada entre la población de De Panne y Sint-Idesbald. Reserva natural extensa y variada.
Desde el punto de unión 29 es posible realizar una caminata adicional hacia el punto de unión 30 para luego caminar dentro de las Houtsaegerduinen. Se trata de una hermosa caminata en forma de lazo de 2,7 km.
