¡Bienvenido a De Roma! Esta impresionante sala en la Turnhoutsebaan abrió en 1928 como el cine más grande de Amberes. Además de estrellas de cine, también han estado aquí íconos de la música como Lou Reed, Paul McCartney e Iron Maiden en el escenario. Tras el cierre en 1982, amenazó con deteriorarse, hasta que voluntarios restauraron el edificio manualmente desde 2002. Hoy en día, aún cuidan el ambiente cálido, desde el bar hasta la zona trasera. De Roma no es una sala de conciertos común, sino el corazón palpitante de Borgerhout, en la igualmente vibrante Turnhoutsebaan. Curiosidad: De Roma no está nombrado por la capital de Italia, sino por las primeras letras de su constructor Jean-Baptiste Romeo y su esposa Ludvina Malev. ¿Romántico, verdad?
