Zevendonk es una aldea de Turnhout en los Kempen de Amberes, situada entre la ciudad misma (cortada de la ciudad por la autopista E34), Oud-Turnhout, Kasterlee, Lichtaart y Tielen. Esta, la segunda aldea más antigua de la ciudad de Turnhout, cuenta actualmente con aproximadamente 2000 habitantes, lo que equivale a unas 600 familias. Desde 1694, el pueblo de Zevendonk tiene su propia iglesia. Siguieron años turbulentos y tras una lucha, en la que los habitantes del pueblo desafiaron la autoridad del capitulo de aquel entonces y pagaron a su propio sacerdote, llegó el período de Napoleón en el que Zevendonk fue una de las cinco aldeas dependientes de la iglesia principal de San Pedro.
