Hermosa vista del valle de Salm, que en Trois-Ponts desemboca un poco más adelante en Amblève.
El Salm se origina en Commanster en la antigua frontera entre Prusia y Bélgica, que seguía la línea divisoria de aguas aquí, y desemboca en el Amel en el ayuntamiento de Trois-Ponts. La zona de nacimiento está a más de 500 metros, la boca a 260 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
