La iglesia de Santa Godelieve está situada en la calle Honzebroek. Después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Roeselare se expandió fuertemente hacia el norte. En 1964 se puso en uso una iglesia provisional, que fue reemplazada en 1981 por el edificio definitivo de la iglesia. La iglesia de Santa Godelieve fue diseñada por la oficina de arquitectos de Roeselare Buro I y II (H. Vermoortel). La forma de la iglesia hace referencia a 'la tienda de reunión' (Éx. 36-40,2). El gran techo está sostenido en los lados por 4 pilares a la izquierda y 4 pilares a la derecha. Ellos simbolizan los 4 evangelistas y los patriarcas, portadores de la iglesia.
