El Marum es la parte más noreste del Gran Campo de Tiro (Brasschaat, Brecht y Wuustwezel) y es dominio militar desde 1890. Durante mucho tiempo fue un lugar inaccesible para ejercicios de tiro, pero desde 2010 se ha abierto al público como zona de paseo segura.
