"Spletterenbrug" sobre el Moervaart en Daknam. Un nombre como un reloj, pero también un lugar idílico en plena naturaleza. Con un poco de imaginación puedes ver y oír en tu mente el último tren de vapor, cargado de remolacha azucarera, resonando sobre las vías. Desde 1867, los trenes de vapor transitaban por la línea Aalst-Lokeren-Zelzate durante 100 años. El puente fue volado en dos ocasiones por ejércitos en retirada. En 1918 por los alemanes y en 1940 por el ejército belga. El puente, restaurado por el ocupante después de 1940, ha permanecido inalterado hasta hoy, salvo algunas tareas de pintura. El nombre Spletteren hace referencia a la antigua denominación de los campos circundantes.
