Es un monumento al rey Alberto I, comandante en jefe del ejército belga durante la Primera Guerra Mundial, y los Fire Crossers . Este título se otorgaba a los veteranos que habían luchado en el frente "bajo fuego" .

Este lugar solía ser un parque con un quiosco, muy bien ubicado en el Mosa, este último por supuesto permanece, porque el Mosa simplemente no se puede mover.
