En 1614 los Alessio se instalaron en el antiguo hospicio de la Santissima Trinità.
Cuidaban de los enfermos y de los dementes. A principios del siglo XVIII construyeron un nuevo monasterio con una capilla y un patio: el monasterio de Cellebroeder.
En 1755 los hermanos se vieron obligados a ceder parte de sus tierras para la construcción del actual cuartel de Dossin . En 1798 hubo dificultades con los ocupantes franceses; El monasterio fue vendido y recomprado por los monjes en 1801. Sin embargo, gran parte del mobiliario de la iglesia había desaparecido . A partir de 1908 se convirtió en convento franciscano.
Entre 1997 y 2005 la asociación sin ánimo de lucro Emmaüs hizo restaurar el complejo. El ala oeste del monasterio se utiliza actualmente como centro comunitario y juvenil.
Las cuatro alas actuales del claustro se agrupan en torno a un patio rectangular con la capilla y la sacristía al sureste.
