Esta caminata es ideal si quieres descubrir los humedales de Hoboken. El inicio está en la entrada de los humedales de Hoboken, en Schroeilaan. Primero caminamos 200 m por un camino entre praderas abiertas, cuando entramos en el bosque de Schroeyvelden. Durante 2,5 km cruzamos los humedales de Hoboken. Pasamos por áreas naturales, senderos sobre pilotes, refugios de observación de aves, el gran canal de Leie, áreas de pastoreo,... Finalmente llegamos a la duna del Escalda, que seguiremos durante aproximadamente 1,5 km. Hemos caminado un total de 4 km cuando dejamos la duna del Escalda por un tramo de naturaleza. Después de 6,7 km, salimos del bosque para regresar al inicio de la caminata. En total, un poco menos de 7 km.
