Desde 1809, el consejo municipal está instalado en un bonito edificio neoclásico construido en el lugar de la antigua abadía cisterciense de Saint-Martin (siglo XI).
Lamentablemente, la mayoría de los edificios de la abadía medieval desaparecieron tras la abolición del monasterio en 1797 . La mayoría de los edificios, especialmente la iglesia, han desaparecido.
El edificio principal fue construido en 1763 bajo la abadía de Robert Delzenne, según los planos del arquitecto Laurent Dewez. Hasta su cierre, la abadía sirvió como palacio abacial.
Las fachadas neoclásicas escaparon al incendio que destruyó el interior del edificio en 1940. Lo que queda del antiguo monasterio es la impresionante y estricta cripta románica , que es admirable. restaurado, así como parte del monasterio que parece ser una pieza muy ornamentada de la arquitectura gótica de finales del siglo XV .
