Este quiosco rústico fue inaugurado el sábado 18 de septiembre de 1971 .
Fue el señor Walter Fostier , acompañado de su esposa, quien cortó él mismo la cinta simbólica del nuevo mirador que lleva su nombre.
El mirador está situado cerca de la reserva natural de Heid des Gattes y ofrece una hermosa vista de la perla del Amblève.
Desde Remouchamps se accede al mirador por un camino empinado, pero desde Florzé el camino es más llano.
Walter Fostier (1911-2014) fue periodista y ferviente defensor del bosque y del patrimonio local.
