El Trou du Grand Duc es una de las cuevas más impactantes y misteriosas del Parque de Furfooz . Se accede a ella mediante una escalera y un sendero estrecho .
Se trata de una cueva o pozo vertical con una profundidad aproximada de 20 metros . La abertura es relativamente estrecha, pero el espacio inferior se expande. Es una cueva natural de piedra caliza , formada por la erosión y las corrientes de agua subterránea. No se han encontrado hallazgos arqueológicos de gran envergadura en esta cueva.
«Trou du Grand Duc» significa literalmente «Agujero del Gran Duque». El Gran Duque de Europa es un búho real que anida en esta región.
