De Trou du Grand Duc is een van de meest opvallende en mysterieuze grotten in het Parc de Furfooz. De grot bereikbaar via een trap en smal pad heen en terug.
Het is een verticale grot of schacht met een diepte van ca. 20 meter. De opening is relatief smal, maar de ruimte onderin zet uit. Het is een natuurlijke kalksteengrot, gevormd door erosie en ondergrondse waterstromen. Er zijn geen grootschalige archeologische vondsten in deze grot.
"Trou du Grand Duc" betekent letterlijk "Gat van de Grote Hertog". De Grand-duc d'Europe is een een oehoe die in deze regio broedt.
