La batalla de Abrito, también conocida como batalla del Forum Terebronii, «Foro Terebronio»,[6][n 4] ocurrió en la provincia romana de Mesia Inferior, cerca de la ciudad de Abrito , en junio o agosto de 251, entre las legiones del emperador Gayo Mesio Quinto Trajano Decio y una coalición de guerreros bárbaros y desertores romanos liderados por el godo Cniva.[7] Las tropas romanas fueron emboscadas en el pantano circundante y masacradas, culminando con el fallecimiento del emperador y de su hijo y co-emperador Quinto Herenio Etrusco Mesio Decio.
