El río Saint-Maurice ?; en francés, 'Rivière Saint-Maurice', llamado simplement el Saint-Maurice,[1] es un largo río de Canadá, un afluente de la ribera norte del río San Lorenzo que discurre por el centro de la provincia de Quebec. El río nace en el embalse Gouin, a la misma latitud que el lago Saint-Jean, y fluye en dirección sureste y luego sur hasta acabar desembocando en el San Lorenzo en la ciudad de Trois-Rivières. El río tiene 563 km de longitud, drena una cuenca de 43.300 km²,[2]y en su curso desciende unos 405 metros.
Primera vía de comunicación en la región, el río fue utilizado por los indios locales mucho antes de que llegaran los europeos. Desde las primeras exploraciones de los religiosos al objeto de convertir a los nativos y de los cazadores en busca de pieles, fue una de las rutas fluviales primordiales en Quebec.
