El río Fraser es el río más largo de Columbia Británica, en Canadá, con más de 1370 km de longitud. Se localiza completamente dentro de la provincia de Columbia Británica. Nace en las Montañas Rocosas y desemboca en el océano Pacífico. El delta del río se ubica en la región metropolitana de Vancouver. El estuario del río Fraser fue incluido en la red hemisférica de reservas para aves playeras por Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network (WHSRN) -en español: red hemisférica de reservas para aves playeras (RHRAP)- por su valor para las aves migratorias.
