La batalla de Chippawa o batalla de Chippewa fue un enfrentamiento entre Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña e Irlanda y Estados Unidos, que se enmarca, dentro de la guerra anglo-estadounidense de 1812, en la invasión del Alto Canadá a lo largo del río Niágara. Se saldó con una victoria estadounidense, siendo la primera frente a los británicos con ejércitos en igualdad de condiciones.
En julio de 1814 Napoleón Bonaparte había sido derrotado en Europa, y la llegada de veteranos de guerra británicos a Canadá era inminente. El Secretario de Guerra estadounidense, John Amstrong, por su parte, estaba impaciente de una victoria sobre Canadá antes de los refuerzos británicos.
