La Segunda Batalla de Zúrich fue una victoria clave para el ejército republicano francés en Suiza, dirigido por André Masséna, sobre una fuerza austríaca y rusa comandada por Alexander Korsakov cerca de Zúrich. Acabó con el estancamiento que fue el resultado de la Primera Batalla de Zúrich tres meses antes, y significó la retirada de Rusia de la Segunda Coalición. La mayor parte de los enfrentamientos tuvieron lugar en ambas orillas del río Limago hasta las puertas de Zúrich y dentro de la ciudad misma.
Después de la Primera Batalla de Zúrich Masséna se había consolidado en una línea defensiva detrás del curso inferior del río Aar. En este momento, todo su ejército en Suiza estaba formado por alrededor de 77.000 combatientes, posicionados de esta manera:
