Este puerto de montaña conecta el Val des Dix con el Val d'Arolla, se encuentra a una altura de 2855 m y es un puerto de montaña muy popular debido a las escaleras que debes tomar para llegar del Val des Dix al puerto. Quien no le guste estas escaleras puede ir al otro valle a través del cercano Col de Riedmatten.
