Kouklia es un pueblo en el Distrito de Pafos, a unos 16 kilómetros de la ciudad de Pafos en la isla mediterránea de Chipre. El pueblo está construido en la zona de "Palaipaphos" , mítico lugar de nacimiento de Afrodita, la diosa griega del amor y la belleza. El mito de la fundación se entreteje con Afrodita en todos los niveles, de manera que "Viejo Pafos" se convirtió en el centro de su culto en el mundo antiguo.
