El Parque Industrial Duisburg Nord es un complejo de altos hornos que debe su apodo "farmacia de la región del Ruhr" a los muchos tipos de hierro colado que se mezclaron aquí. El olor metálico todavía permea tu nariz. Como resultado de la crisis del acero, este complejo de Thyssen se cerró a mediados de los años 80.
