Melchow [ˈmɛlçoː] es una localidad en el sur del distrito de Barnim. Es administrada por la oficina de Biesenthal-Barnim.
El lugar se encuentra a 40 km al nordeste de Berlín-Mitte, cerca de la ciudad del distrito Eberswalde. Melchow da una impresión discreta con adoquines, un panadero, una tienda de periódicos, una iglesia, una "estación de tren del parque natural" y un cementerio apartado. En los alrededores, caracterizados por el paisaje ligeramente montañoso y boscoso del valle glacial de Eberswalde, también hay varios lagos, como por ejemplo el lago Samith y el lago Schwärze.
