Bad Sooden-Allendorf también está vinculado a los cuentos de hadas. Cada año, en la semana después de Pascua, se celebra la tradicional Märchenwoche ("Semana de los Cuentos de Hadas") en Bad Sooden-Allendorf. Muchos eventos, como "noches de cuentos de hadas" y producciones teatrales, traen los cuentos de hadas al mundo, enmarcados por apariciones diarias de personajes de cuentos de hadas en el parque de la spa. En el centro se encuentra Frau Holle, quien se dice que vivió en el cercano Hoher Meißner y que diariamente sacudía los edredones en el histórico Söder Tor ("Puerta de Sooden")
