Bad Sooden-Allendorf er også forbundet med eventyr. Hvert år i ugen efter påske afholdes den traditionelle Märchenwoche ("Eventyruge") i Bad Sooden-Allendorf. Mange begivenheder som "eventyraftener" og teaterforestillinger bringer eventyr ind i verden, indrammet af daglige optrædener af eventyrkarakterer i spa-parken. I fokus står Frau Holle, som siges at have boet på den nærliggende Hoher Meißner og dagligt have rystet dynerne ud ved den historiske Söder Tor ("Sooden Port")
