Suhlendorf es una localidad en el este del distrito de Uelzen, en el borde de Wendland y Drawehn, Baja Sajonia.
Suhlendorf se encuentra en la Heide de Lüneburg y es un subcentro en el este del distrito de Uelzen. Suhlendorf forma parte de la cuenca de Uelzen y de la llanura de Ilmenau, y se sitúa directamente en el borde de Drawehn. Al suroeste de Suhlendorf nace el Wipperau, un afluente del Ilmenau. La localidad está situada directamente en la carretera federal B71, entre Uelzen y Salzwedel. La ciudad hanseática de Uelzen se encuentra a unos 16 kilómetros de distancia. Hasta Salzwedel son aproximadamente 30 kilómetros y hasta la ciudad del distrito de Lüchow son unos 31 kilómetros. La estación de tren más cercana está a unos cinco kilómetros de distancia, con conexiones de tren a Uelzen, Salzwedel, Stendal y Berlín. La comunidad de Suhlendorf pertenece a la comunidad administrativa de Rosche.
