La estructura angular de los acantilados de Dörenther, con 159 metros uno de los puntos más bajos del bosque, es el resultado de la erosión. Debido a las grietas en las rocas, el efecto devastador del hielo, el agua y el viento fue más intenso, dando lugar a una forma caprichosa. Uno de estos acantilados se asemeja a una mujer sentada. Por lo tanto, esta roca se llama aquí "Mujer sentada".
