La struttura angolare delle Dörenther Klippen – con i suoi 159 metri uno dei punti più profondi della foresta – è il risultato dell'erosione. Poiché c'erano crepe nella roccia, l'effetto devastante di ghiaccio, acqua e vento è stato più intenso e si è formata una forma capricciosa. Una di queste scogliere assomiglia a una donna seduta. Questa roccia è quindi chiamata qui "Donna Accovacciata".
