Kirchwistedt es una localidad en el municipio unificado de Beverstedt en el distrito de Cuxhaven en Baja Sajonia. Es la menos poblada de la comunidad y está fuertemente orientada hacia la agricultura y la silvicultura.
El lugar fue mencionado por primera vez como Wicstede en 1340. Alrededor del año 1420 apareció la antigua denominación del lugar, Wichstede. La fundación de la iglesia tuvo lugar en el siglo XIII. A través de la iglesia, el nombre se amplió a Kirchwistedt.
