Miniatur-Wunderland es una construcción de modelismo ferroviario situada en Hamburgo y es la mayor del mundo.[1] A fecha de enero de 2008, Miniatur-Wunderland constaba de 11.000 metros de vía en escala H0 , repartidos en cinco secciones: Alemania Meridional , Hamburgo y la costa, Estados Unidos, Escandinavia y Suiza. De los 4.000 m² de superficie total, la construcción ocupa 1.500 m².
Para el año 2014, se espera que se duplique el número de secciones a diez. La última sección, que ilustra un aeropuerto, fue incluida en 2011. La exposición contiene 900 trenes con un total de 12.000 vagones, 300.000 luces, 200.000 árboles y 200.000 figuras humanas.[2] En su interior se encuentra el Knuffingen Flughafen, el aeropuerto minatura más grande del mundo.
