La abadía de Marienmünster es un antiguo monasterio benedictino en la ciudad de Marienmünster, en Renania del Norte-Westfalia. El monasterio fue disuelto en 1803. Desde 1965 hasta 2014, allí vivieron pasionistas que atendían pastoralmente las parroquias cercanas.
En el año 1127, Widekind I, conde de Schwalenberg, fue nombrado. Al año siguiente, él y su esposa Lutrud de Itter, a instancias de su primo o cuñado, el obispo de Paderborn Bernhard I de Oesede, fundaron la abadía benedictina como monasterio de expiación. Proporcionaron tierras y terrenos en las inmediaciones de su castillo ancestral, el Oldenburg, hicieron construir la iglesia y los edificios monásticos y dotaron al monasterio con bienes para el sustento de los monjes.
