La iglesia parroquial católica de San Juan Bautista, comúnmente conocida como la iglesia de Johannis, en Billerbeck, data de su construcción original antes del año 800. El edificio actual se originó probablemente en el año 1234. Es un ejemplo significativo de una iglesia de salón de orden atada de la época del románico tardío. En su forma, ha sido alterado hasta hoy solo por pequeñas restauraciones, y además es rico en diversas piezas de equipamiento.
