Den katolske sognekirke St. Johannes Døberen, ofte blot kaldet Johannis-Kirche, i Billerbeck kan dateres tilbage til grundlæggelsen før år 800. Den nuværende bygning er sandsynligvis opført i 1234. Den er et betydeligt eksempel på en senromansk hallkirke i bunden orden. I sin form er den indtil i dag kun blevet ændret gennem mindre restaureringer, og den er desuden rig på diverse udsmykningsgenstande.
