La estación de Andernach es el centro de transporte de la ciudad de Andernach. Cuenta con cuatro vías de pasajeros, de las cuales tres tienen una longitud de más de 400 metros, así como vías de estacionamiento y de mercancías. Se encuentra en la línea del río Rin en la orilla izquierda y es el punto final del ferrocarril Eifel. Además del tráfico de pasajeros, también hay tráfico de contenedores y mercancías, que se maneja en la estación de mercancías situada al este detrás de la estación. Desde allí, hay vías de conexión al puerto del Rin de Andernach y a la empresa Rasselstein.
