En Heisterburg en Deister se trataba de un castillo de tierra del siglo X al XI cerca del barrio de Feggendorf en Lauenau. Se ubica, en partes iguales, en el territorio de la comunidad de Nenndorf y la ciudad de Rodenberg en Baja Sajonia.
La instalación se encuentra en una zona boscosa en el extremo noroeste del Deister. Se sitúa cerca de la cresta de la montaña a aproximadamente 330 metros sobre el nivel del mar en un hundimiento entre dos elevaciones planas. La fortificación se ubicaba en la antigua frontera entre los distritos medievales de Bukkigau y Marstemgau. Hoy, se encuentra en la frontera entre la ciudad de Rodenberg y la comunidad de Bad Nenndorf, así como en la frontera de la región de Hannover y el distrito de Schaumburg.
