El castillo de Wolmirstedt es una fortaleza de origen medieval situada sobre la ciudad de Wolmirstedt en Sajonia-Anhalt.
La primera mención documental del castillo data del año 1009. En ese momento, el castillo probablemente era una fortaleza imperial y estaba concedida a los condes de Walbeck. En el siglo XII, la fortaleza pertenecía a los margraves de Brandeburgo. Desde 1159 se pueden documentar ministros. El castillo, situado en la antigua confluencia de los ríos Elba y Ohre, servía para asegurar el acceso a la Altmark, situada al norte. Esto fue especialmente relevante en el contexto de los frecuentes conflictos bélicos con el arzobispado de Magdeburgo, situado al sur. Debido a un cambio en el curso del río Elba, hoy la fortaleza ya no se encuentra en la proximidad inmediata del Elba.
