La estación de tren Solingen Mitte es una estación de paso en la gran ciudad montañosa de Solingen. Fue inaugurada en el año 2006 y reemplazó, junto con la cercana parada Solingen Grünewald, a la antigua estación principal de Solingen, que desde entonces ya no se utiliza.
La estación de tren Solingen Mitte se encuentra en la zona sur del centro de la ciudad. Está situada al este de la antigua estación principal de Solingen y del actual Südpark, en la intersección de la carretera federal 229 con las calles que llevan a los barrios de Höhscheid y Widdert, la calle Brühler y la calle Bismarck. Sobre la parada de tren hay una estación de autobuses que conecta con las líneas de los servicios públicos de Solingen, incluyendo también las líneas de autobuses del trolebús de Solingen.
