La Freusburg es un castillo de altura de la alta Edad Media en una cima montañosa, sobre el valle del Sieg en Freusburg, un barrio de Kirchen en el distrito de Altenkirchen en Renania-Palatinado. La cercana localidad de Freusburg lleva el nombre de la fortaleza.
Por primera vez, la Freusburg fue mencionada en el año 913 con el nombre de Fruodeesbraderofanc. Bifanc significa finca o asiento señorial. La primera mención documental data del año 1048.
